Charlie graduated with Honours from Bachelor of Applied Science in 1996. This was in addition to his degree in Physical Education and postgraduate studies in Exercise for Rehabilitation. Charlie worked at the Hawthorn Football Club in 2003/2004 and now divides his time between Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic and Vimy House Private Hospital where he provides physio services for many of Melbourne's leading orthopaedic surgeons.
